The Nikon Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.8 S is a portrait lens for Nikon mirrorless cameras. The aperture of f/1.8 makes the lens light-sensitive, which allows you to photograph in dark locations, for example. The Nano Crystal Coat makes sure you don’t get any light flares when you take a backlit picture. That way, you can create a dreamlike atmosphere. With the eye recognition AF, you can quickly and accurately focus on your model’s eyes. You can do this manually using the rotating ring, or you can do this automatically. You determine the function of your rotating ring yourself, so you can also set the aperture or lighting correction. The lens has a short focal distance of 80cm, allowing you to take close-up portrait pictures. When photographing at a distance, you can also capture the surroundings. The noiseless focus and aperture adjustment make the lens suitable for videographers, because you don’t hear any distracting noises in your videos.
